VIA is a travel store concept. References to travel, real, imagined and suggested inspire customers to plan voyages using services available in the store and purchase necessary items for their adventure; city or country, luxury or rugged. The design of the store embraces motion along an undulating landscape - a topography that folds and unfolds, gathers and creases, pleats and expands. This creates areas for product display, travel and guide services and informative and social interactions. In other areas tracks are laid to carry different types of merchandise throughout the store. At strategic points lenses or openings are punctured through the walls allowing the sightseer to look through and be transported.
