The former Colliers Printing House in the Meatpacking District in New York City has street frontage on West 13th and Little West 12th Streets. The Owner's program has been to develop the building as a vibrant business and cultural hub, providing office and studio space on the upper floors with retail spaces at the street level. The street level is now occupied by restaurants and retail stores while the floors above hold various creative companies such as Rag & Bone design studios and production offices, also designed by EOA. We have worked closely with the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to retain the original elegance and be sympathetic to the concerns of the district, respectful of the history of the building and supportive of its new purpose. EOA is currently designing a rooftop collection of studio spaces clustered around various outdoor gathering spaces while also extending both the passenger and freight elevators to this level.
